Today I'm going for a slightly different blog post, this is my October wishlist! Topshop Knitted Lace Yoke Top £38
Oh Topshop why do you do this to me?! This jumper is one of the nicest items of clothing I have seen in a looooong time! The detailing at the top is stunning and the mint green just makes me think of fresh tea leaves!  But it probably helps that the model is so tall and glamorous!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation in Ivory £5.99
I have actually already tried this foundation because I got a little sample in one of my Company Magazines! This foundation is amazing though! It has such great coverage and although the tube only looks quite small, you actually only need bout a pea size amount to cover your whole face, so it does go a long way! This is available in most drugstores for £5.99 however in Wilkinson's at the moment there is a special offer on!

Urban Outfitters BDG Fur Trimmed Hooded Parka Jacket in Khaki for £115
Why cant I own this?! This gorgeous coat from Urban Outfitters makes me want to cry! Who knew something so stylish could look so warm and snug. If Urban Outfitters were aiming to make people jealous with this coat then job done!

Babyliss curl secret £120
Can we just stop for asecond to take a look at how high tech this seems?! So as some of you may of already seen this looks like the future of hair styling for us! This little gadget curls hair in seconds and lets you choose from tight to loose curls (and just to make sure you don't burn your hair it beeps when the curl is done letting you know to let go!) If this isn't cool I don't know what is! Click me to lead you to an advert showing the Babyliss Curl Secret

River Island Holographic Brogues £40
Holographic patterns is the print of the season. Put the print of the season on to my favourite kind of shoes and "Ding, Ding, Ding WE HAVE A WINNER!" But seriously... look how pretty!

Favorite face care products!

Being a teenager I get the joy of dealing with spotty, dry and oily skin, so just like every other teenager I spend my time finding ways to (hopefully) prevent or completely stop it from doing this stuff we all despise. So I am here today to share with all you lovely people my favorite skin care products to save you some very vital shopping time trying to decide which product you want!
Clearasil Daily Gel Face Wash
This is a very refreshing  and cool wash. You only require a small amount of gel and it lathers very easily not only this but it smells of cucumber leaving you wanting to just smell your face all day (I promise I'm not weird..)

Boots Botanic eye makeup remover
This has to be my favourite eye makeup remover and I have used it quite a lot! You don't need very much to get it all of your makeup off and its great when removing waterproof mascara. It's slightly oily but is great for sensitive skin since it has a very soothing formula. Plus its cheap!
Superdrug pore cleansing tea tree nose strips
I tend to get quite bad blackheads on my nose and so when I saw these in superdrug I thought it would be good to give them a try. However these ones in particular weren't very good in my opinion. But I went to a friends house, not too long ago, and she happened to have a more high end brands version which were very good.

Clinique liquid facial soap
This, believe it or not, was a freebie in a magazine! You only need a tiny bit on your fingers for it to lather up and it also works well at removing tough makeup like eye or lip stains. A little bit more expensive then what I usually use but you can definatley tell the difference.

Superdrug tea tree foaming face wash
I know I should talk about how brilliant this face wash is for your skin (which dont get me wrong it is) but the real reason I love this face wash is because in the bottle the soap is a liquid and then when you push the pump it comes out as foam... lets face it, that's pretty cool.

Garnier Moisture Match Wake me up

I have actually used all of my moisture match and so had to get this photo off of google but my goodness is this a good moisturizer! I think I prefer this then other moisturizers because instead of it being a cream (which generally feel quite heavy on the skin) its a gel and so is a lot lighter. I particularly like wake me up because it makes you feel ready for the day ahead and gives you a healthy, happy glow.

And so that concludes my favourite face care products! I hope you have enjoyed reading this and it has helped you to choose some products for your next shopping trip.

And remember life is short so smile while you still have teeth, Lots of Love Phoebe x

Winter haul..

Longtime no speak! This past week has been a very long cold one here in the UK and I am starting to think... is this the start of winter? I hope so! Winter is one of my favourite seasons I think its because I just love to come home get in my PJ's, light a few Yankee candles and snuggle up in bed watching youtube videos. Heaven! But anyway I was thinking why not share some of my favourite winter must haves with all you lovely people? So here you are, enjoy!
Turquoise beanie £2 Primark

Bobble hats were last years craze but this time its all about the beanie. I got this one yesterday from Primark and can tell this will be worn excessively over the next few months. The great thing about beanies is they can be styled with everything and worn all year round. I love wearing this with either straightened or loosely curled hair just perched on my head.

Yellow crew cut jumper £30 Urban Outfitters
I am obsessed with this jumper!!! I had been looking for a crew cut jumper since last year then while shopping in London about 3-4 months ago I came across this beauty... I desperately wanted it but I don't generally get a lot of money so if I was to buy it I wouldn't be able to get anything else. But in the end I decided that I would rather have this 1 more expensive thing which I love, than have a few cheaper bits which would be OK... and now that we are in October and I can snuggle up in it I have realized I made the right decision!

Acid wash skater skirt £10 reduced from £28 Bank Fashion
The lace detail
This was another of my great fashion buys which I got yesterday while in Plymouth. The skirt was an amazing bargain and the second I saw it I was thinking about how I could team it up with things. It will be so nice during the winter with wooly black or grey tights and some knock off Dr martens.

Snow white cats £15 Ebay
T-shirt dress' are brilliant for a casual comfy look in the autumn/winter time. I own 3 (1 plain grey one from topshop for £15, 1 with different comic book prints on it from primark for £2 and this new addition, which I know will not appeal to all, from ebay). I style these with some thin tights and creepers (and depending on my hair that day) perhaps a beanie.

Aztec print snood £5 Primark (men's section)
I actually purchased this scarf last year and am reusing it this year instead of buying a new one. However when I went in there the other day I saw that they still had the exact same one and more! I particularly liked a tartan red one in there, so next time you're in primarni dont be a fool and only look in the womens part of the store.. check it all out! you never know what you could come across!

Christmas top £5 Primark (men's section)
A closer view of the pattern
OK guys I know what you are thinking... "is that really a Christmas top.. in October?!' well I'm sorry to tell you why yes, yes it is. I am so excited for Christmas guys! And yes maybe this is a bit odd but hey at least it keeps me feeling festive all year! I decided to buy this in large so its nice and baggy and i just wear it with leggings and vans. And yet again I found this one hiding away in the mens section of Primark!
Minnie Mouse dressing gown poncho £15 Primark
I love, love, love this dressing gown thingy!!! I wasn't sure how to describe it in the caption so let me just explain it here.. think of a poncho made of the warmest, fluffiest dressing gown material ever then make it look like Minnie mouse. I think I die and go to heaven every time I wear this (no exaggeration). Primark do loads of different styles of these and even have a daisy duck one! Oh and in case you haven't guessed I like Primark!

silky patterned dress £8 Primark
A close up of the pattern
This is my final piece of clothing for today's haul :( But no worries since I have saved best until last! While browsing in Primark (yes.. again!) I came across this gorgeous patterned dress and immediately knew I needed it in my life! The hardest task was deciding which pattern I preferred since there was so much choice! I eventually chose this since the colours were so pretty. I also got a size bigger then I normally would because I liked the way it hung.

Foxes Blanket £3 Primark
And in case any of you wanted to know what the background of the pictures was, it was this beauty which I purchased in Brighton not too long ago!

I hoped you've all enjoyed this little haul and just a small disclaimer: in no way am I trying to brag about the stuff shown and everything that you have seen was purchased over the course of a few weeks, not all at once!

So until next time bye bye for now! Lots of Love Phoebe x

Ebays the way! (Secret Saves series)

A couple of months back I was browsing through ebay and came across a coloured set of 120 eyeshadows for £7. I am a massive bargain hunter! If I can get something cheap I will.. but because it was ebay (which is great most of the time but makeup.. from ebay? hmmmm..)  and the photo advertising it seemed a bit tacky, I was weary of whether or not to get it. In the end I just thought to myself "you know what, its only £7. Just go for it!" So I followed my internal monologues voice and my package arrived 3 days later... I have never made a greater shopping decision!
A few of the colours from the pallette

I first tried applying the eyeshadow with a brush but figured out that it was just clinging on to the bristles and not actually going on my lid so I used my finger instead and it is SO pigmented! The set has a range of shades, textures, shimmers and mattes which makes choosing which one to wear a hard decision but fun at the same time! It has so many different colours in it, all the way from neutral to neons and they all feel very soft when applied to the lid.

The packaging
The actual palette itself is very professional and sleek looking. Its not too thick and is easy to open and close. When the palette arrived the box was wrapped in bubble wrap and there were two sheets of plastic covering the eve shadows inside, one of which I have kept so the eyeshadows don't smudge against each other.

Some of the pink eyeshadows
Overall I'm thoroughly impressed! I will definatley consider buying more cheap makeup from ebay now on!

Click me to lead you to where I purchased the palette!

If you have any questions regarding the palette or want me to do a certain blog post leave it in the comments below and until next time, Lots of Love Phoebe x

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Recently in the UK, Maybelline New York released there range of baby lips! Being me I instantly knew I needed them and the first chance I got I grabbed the whole lot (expensive? yes, but it was an impulse buy) and rushed home to test them out.. Before I go into the review this is just a little disclaimer that all opinions are my own and just because I have said something it doesn't mean you should or shouldn't get the product, having said that lets get on with the review! ;D

The baby lips available in the UK. Each selling for £2.99 at Boots and Superdrug

Baby Lips have come to the UK with a storm but are they worth all the hype? For some of them, in my opinion, its a no. They claim to have SPF 20 and last up to 8 hours of hydration however its more like 2. And I was hoping for a stronger smell and taste, for example with Mint Fresh you would expect to get a nice strong smell of mint (probably a bit like chewing gum) but its a very faint smell (which is probably a bonus for some people but I enjoy a strong smelling lip balm) and you cannot taste it at all. Having said that though, they do have a very nice texture and don't feel sticky or thick on your lips and I have noticed that my lips haven't cracked or felt rough since applying these regularly.

Cherry Me, Mint Fresh and Pink Punch
One of the main things that makes this product so appealing is the cute packaging it might not be for everyone but the childish colours and writing is lush to me. My personal favorite is Pink Punch which has a very bright vibrant colour on my lips and stays on for most of the day without me needing to top up. They all glide on the lip with ease and leave a nice shine and you get a decent amount of the lip balm in each tube which was a nice surprise.

Mint fresh
So to summaries...

PROS
-inexpensive (compared to other brands)
-cute packaging
-decent amount of product

CONS
-Not a very strong scent or flavour
-drying effect
-wears off very quickly
-no long-term moisturizing benefits

Please let me know what you have thought of Maybellines Baby Lips in the comments below and I hope this has helped some of you guys! Later tater, Lots of love Phoebe x
