Asos (along with netflix and tumblr) is one of my most used websites, so much so that I even have it as my firefox homepage! Because of this I have managed to build up a rather large collection of saved items... 432 to be exact. On days like today, when I cant gain access to my camera for photo taking or dont have a lot of time, I thought I could share 5 items that are on my Asos wish list! My Record Collection

You may have seen one of my previous posts where I talked about my record player. Well this is a follow up for me to show you some of my favourite records in my collection, I highly recommend checking out all of the albums I have linked as they include a lot of my all time favourite songs and even if you dont own a vinyl record player I believe they are all available also on CD or download. Soap and Glory makeup haul

I have been desperate to get my hands on some new makeup for a while now but was not sure what to buy until I saw that there was a sale on Soap and Glory makeup in boots! This of course drew me to the aisle and had me scanning all the different products to find my new beauty buys.

 

I immediatley knew I wanted to grab the Archery brow tint and precision shaping pencil, I have been using my mac eyeshadow in mystery to fill and shape my brows for a while now and felt like I needed to try something different and just like all the bloggers that have used it... I have fallen in love! This product it makes my morning routine so much easier and speedy and is great at defining my crazy brows! The only downside is that I dyed my hair after buying the product in dark chocolate and now it is too light for my brows so I may end up taking another trip to buy it again in a paler shade.

 

I also nabbed the Kick Ass Concealer in their light shade as I have heard rave reviews! Ive been using it for a few weeks now and am finding it has good coverage when first applied but throughout the day does need topping up to keep dark circles and spots covered. Its a very smooth consistency though and applies like a dream! Im going to carry on using it and see how it fares but I'm not sure if this will be a repurchase any time soon.

Finally I bought their highlighting powder in Glow All Out and have used it every day since! Before this buy I had been using High Beam by Benefit which is a good product but Ive always struggled with blending it in as I found that it tended to stay in the way I had swiped it on. As this is a powder product as opposed to the liquid version of High Beam I find it a lot easier to apply and its pigmentation is amazing! I feel as though this will 100% be a highlighter I come back to time and time again!

Velvet loving

I realised not too long ago that I literally only own two pairs of trousers, both of which are ripped... so I hit up the old world wide web and searched for a new pair! I spent a good few hours scanning Asos for trousers (and of course other garments since its bloody hard not to get tempted!) and finally settled on a oxblood pair of velvet cigarette pants. Never have I been so happy with a decision! When the trousers arrived I was surprised to find that their much more like leggings than cigarette pants but that didnt deter me as all I had to do was put them on and realise how soft and luxurious they felt, plus look hella fine to know I had made the right choice! These have become a go to item in my wardrobe and are great for days that I dont want to put in too much effort but still look nice, for example if I had an exam! I absolutely adore the deep red colour too and find it compliments my extremly pale skin very well, a difficult thing to do! A red lip is always a go to evening or party look. Its so simple yet versatile and adds the pop you may be searching for. Perfect on its own or with a dramatic eye, I've gotten together my top 3 favourite red lipsticks to share with you here! Let me know if I should do more "favourites" like this, Enjoy! :)

This is probably my personal favourite out of the three I've decided to add. Its extremly easy and smooth to apply what can only be described as a lip laquer, and the pigmentation is incredible! When applied the formula is very glossy but it dries to be a lot more matte, which I like as it means you get a nice variety. I found that it has to be replied once or twice throughout the day to keep it looking fresh which I believe to be extremly good since its easy for bright lipsticks to lose their pop after a day of talking, drinking and eating. Plus its only £8.99 which I believe to be a total steal!

Ive wrote about the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks before and as a firm favourite of mine I'm bringing it back here! I love the sleek packaging of the product, oddly mine has a silver stick and end, unlike the image on the boots website, but anyways I really like the shing purple and silver clash! This is a very long lasting lipstick and so if youre a bit wobbly with application I do suggest using a brush since if you slip it may be a slight pain to clean up! A perk is that it does not need topping up during the day, unless you desperatlye want to of course! The product does exactly what the name suggests and is great at bringing moisture to your lips plus the colour is pretty gorgey too! Overall a top notch buy!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss in 107

This lipstick is a blogger cult classic. Of course I had to jump on the band wagon when everyone was raving about it and I do enjoy how it looks and feels however I find that it has the dreaded drying affect that a lot of matte lipsticks have. This wouldnt stop me from buying it again though as the overall colour and texture is great plus its very long wearing and for some strange reason I love the smell of mine! One of those little bonuses in life! I think its very much worth giving a try since it does give a bit of a statement red lip with purpley undertones and goes very well with most makeup looks! And you cant really go wrong at £5.49!

My Instagram

As a social media fanatic I'm always looking out for new accounts or posts that catch my eye and ideas for my own photography. Instagram is an app I use daily, not always to post on but definitley to look at different accounts and what they have to offer. Ive got together a selection of  my favourite instagram accounts and attached photos of them in the below, hopefully you will want to give them a look!

 

A mum and bloody amazing fitness fanatic, Tammy Hembrow's instagram is one to be admired!

 

The designs on this instagram are actually all for sale, I'm yet to get my hands on one of Samanthas creations but in the meantime I'm happy to just admire them from afar.

 I have an unhealthy obsession for cute animals and, if you ask me, the sphynx cat is up there with the cutest of all so I'm always happt to get my daily dosage of sphynx from this account!

 

Although I have never talked or met this account user, we always seem to like eachothers posts and write nice comments on one anothers photos and so I felt like it was necessary to add her to this list since she just seems to be such a lovely person! (Oh and she makes great jewellery!)

 

I love Valfre for their quirky cartoon girls and designs, not only that but they have a clothing site with all their designs on anything from silk boomber jackets to funky Iphone cases!

 Another animal account because if I'm not looking at sphynx cats I will be looking at dogs. Normally its french bulldogs but in the case of Evie and Eagle they are actually australian bulldogs, just as cute and maybe even better!

Watts.on is a much artier instagram than the others, I like the majority of the accounts posts as theres always something interesting to look at be it portaits, colours or glittery things. A definite for any artists out there.

My Record Player

 Nearly a year ago I purchased my first record player and have found it to become one of my all time favourite things. After doing extensive research into what kind of player I wanted and what was and wasnt as good as I initially had thought, I decided to buy the ION Audio Max LP. I read a lot of reviews on the product before buying it and I dont think I found a bad review, everyone seemed to enjoy its look, sound and play.

This was a player I hadnt heard of before but loved the sleek and minimalist wooden look. The player came with two built in speakers which work surprisingly well but I think I may end up buying external speakers too as I wish to be able to get a louder and less tingy sound for my records. I also love the fact there is a plastic lid meaning I can play my records and still watch them go round, very therapeutic if you ask me, without having to worry about damaging or getting the records dirty.

Overall I love my record player and at £79.00 I believe it to be a steal! Its perfect as a first time player and is easy to use, with minimal set up. I highly recomend people considering it as a possible record player for yourself or as a present to others, can guarantee you would be please!

Mothers Day

 

 

Our Mothers Day was spent in the usually sunny town of Dartmouth. My family and I walked along the river and through all the small boutique shops before going for cake and coffee in a patisierre where we happily divuldged ouselves in cakes, cookies and macaroons before leaving to head to a local pub and have a relaxed evening altogether. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the pictures from the day that I have attached and can forgive any gloominess as the weather was not particularly jolly.

I've been a lover of RomComs as long as I can remember, even as a young girl I was watching them (I didnt understand the majority of the jokes but I loved them none the less) and because of this I thought it would be a grand idea to share my top five with you all considering I have such an extensive knowledge of them ;) So in no particular order here they are...

Kickers loving

Christmas 2015 bought me many treats and delights, one being a new pair of red kickers. Kickers have been about for years and my dad was over the moon when I said I would like a pair as my crimbo present as he remembers wearing them as a child himself (he is now 48 so that goes to show how timeless they are). When christmas morning came I had almost forgotten about telling dad about the kickers and so when I unwrapped the box and saw the label staring back at me you can imagine how happy I was! A bright red pair of hi top kickers! We are now in march and I am amazed at hkw clean they have managed to stay considering they have been worn nearly everyday since! Never have a pair of shoes been so comfy, sturdy and still be super funky too, granted I have had people have mixed opinions on them but I love my red kickers and am glad that not only do they please me but also my dad :)

Spring is around the corner and as most of us clean out our cupboards, I'm refreshing my phone! Currently I have an Iphone 4S but will be getting an update very soon, in the meantime I wanted it to look nice, pretty and fresh for the spring months coming towards us and so found a few backgrounds that look exactly that!
